as well as his perspective on national and international events. The letters to Amelia cease after 1854, and Llewellyn writes
exclusively to Ralph until 1857. Also contains one letter from George Zublin to Llewellyn.

Llewellyn Zublin worked as a printer in San Francisco during the 1850's while his wife Amelia and son Ralph stayed in Iowa.
Zublin first worked as a printer on the San Francisco Herald and then founded the San Francisco Call with four other printers.
